New York City’s cabaret duo, The L Train is coming to Ft. Lauderdale to team up with one of South Florida’s premier cabaret performers, David Meulemans for an evening of music at Empire stage called Cabaret Du Jour.

The L Train, featuring New York City performers Lucy Caracappa and Louis Vanaria, will be performing toe tapping renditions of some of your favorite duets and heartwarming pop and theater solos from a range of artists such as Steve and Eydie Gourme, Streisand, Buble, Cher, Sinatara and much, much more! The second half of the evening will feature Fort Lauderdale’s own David Meulemans bringing his own eclectic selections ranging from Bocelli to Presley to Elton John, and Anthony Newly with a surprise or two for good measure!

Lucy Caracappa is a regular lead vocalist with club date acts such as The Tony T Orchestra and the Funkjunkees and has performed on numerous stages including Empire City Casino. She is also a comedic actress and improv performer with Murder Mystery Manhattan and has performed in musical theater as Tuptim in The King And I and Lalume in Kismet.

Louis Vanaria is a television/movie actor/vocalist whose credits include A Bronx Tale (role of Crazy Mario), recurring roles on TV’s Person of Interest, Boardwalk Empire and a role in the upcoming film Friends and Romans starring Michael Rispoli and Annabella Sciora. Louis has performed cabaret at Foxwoods Casino with Jay Leno and Connie Francis and at the 4 Triple 5 Café in Niagara Falls.

David Meulemans is a South Florida headliner in the condo circuit and has done cabaret performances in New York City at Don’t Tell Mama’s, and has also performed in London and Palm Springs. David’s artistry has enabled him to perform with musical icons ranging from Carol Channing to Davy Jones. As a popular leading man in Florida’s musical theatre scene, David’s credits encompass such diverse roles as Bobby in Company and Za Za in La Cage Aux Folles.

Cabaret Du Jour will leave you wanting more! You will walk away humming your favorite tunes and will learn songs you never heard before! A night of music you won't soon forget!
