Soho Think Tank, Inc. presents
Vampire University
Wednesday, August 08, 2007 through Saturday, August 11, 2007
Ice Factory 2007 presents Vampire University by John Kaplan
Length: 1 hr 45 mins Intermission: None Seating: General Admission You choose your seats when you get to the theater.
A struggling vampire family descends on an evangelical college in the Midwest, and every assumption about god, sex, and the nature of longing is up for grabs. When dad’s mid-life crisis of immortality triggers a desire to come back to life, the gulf between first and second generations vampires has never seemed greater.
Productions of Kaplan’s plays at the Ohio Theatre include The Men Are Afraid of the Women, Bad Skin, Little Man and The Undeads. John is a NYSFA Playwrighting Fellow who’s work has been performed at St. Marks Church, the Public Theatre, the Westbank Theatre and La Mama, (as well as places further uptown and regionally.) |
