The final days of Rose Mary Woods, loyal secretary to Richard M. Nixon, as she observes the presidential election of 2004 from her swing-state nursing home, and thinks about power, and loyalty, and lying. And has some very strange dreams.
New Georges, in business for 15 years, produces idiosyncratic new plays in downtown theaters, and maintains all manner of theatrical activity in its play and artist development space, The Room. Recent productions have been called “fiercely good,” “awe-inspiring,” “stellar,” “thrilling” and “fantastical,” and we’re an artistic home for some of the most inventive theater artists (who are women) working today. |
