In the world of art, where there are no boundaries—how do you know where creativity stops and disorder begins? Is there an element of chaos in creation? Is madness often the muse? Such are the questions explored by playwright Lacy Lalene Lynch in the original new play, Reason For Referral, which integrates original music, visual art, humor, and quotes from a nineteenth-century troubled mind to depict the journey of three young college students trying to come to terms with the stigma surrounding their mental issues in order to express themselves through art. |
