Written by Noah Haidle and directed by Sam Gold. Jeff and George, mourning the death of their mother, struggle to make ends meet at the family ladder store, which George also utilizes as a front for the black market sale of human hearts, hearts bought and sold for people who either feel nothing or too damn much!
This is Noah’s debut Rattlestick production. His other plays include Mister Marmalade (Roundabout) and Vigils (The Goodman Theatre).
The cast includes: Michael Chernus (American Sligo, Essential Self Defense), Matthew Stadelmann (American Sligo, Stone Cold Dead Serious), Kevin Jackson (Topdog/Underdog, Fences), Deirdre O’Connell (Fugue, Stone Cold Dead Serious), Henry Stram (Inherit the Wind, The Crucible), Audrey Lynn Weston (Rearviewmirror, Work), and David Wohl (Fiddler on the Roof, Dinner at Eight). |
