Spuyten Duyvil is an eight-piece Americana band from New York’s Hudson Valley whose original alt roots sound wanders the last 100 years of American music. Soaring vocals, traditional jug band energy, amped-up lap steel guitar and Chicago-style blues harp propelled their 2011 release, New Amsterdam to a "Best American Roots Album" nominee (the Alternate Root TV) . “One of the best bands to emerge on the Americana music scene in the last year” raves WFUV.
