In Folie Pure, we find Dgidgi and Koukou removed from the world and blissful, existing in a high-rise bubble of their own making. One day, their neighbor, Marta Mackin, comes knocking at their door and the bubble bursts. Now, the women must confront their demons. Are they human? Are they monsters? Are they loved? Where will their confrontation with reality end? With hints of Eugène Ionesco, Jean Giraudoux, Jean Genet, and even Antonin Artaud this wildly original play looks at its characters through a 52nd story window as their fantasy world is shattered. It could happen to anyone, right?
