New Chamber Ballet's 2012/13 season opens with a program of four ballets by Miro Magloire with live music on violin and piano:

The Letter, a comic duet to a piano sonata by Joseph Haydn.

Moments, to solo violin Caprices by Salvatore Sciarrino, in which dancer and violinist share the stage.

Ghost Story, a haunted trio to music by Morton Feldman.

Glove, a delicate trio, also to music by Feldman.


Performers include Elizabeth Brown, Nora Brown, Holly Curran, and Katie Gibson. The music will be played live by Miranda Cuckson (violin) and Melody Fader (piano).

Due to a last-minute injury, the previously announced world premiere of Train, to music by Bach, was postponed to a later date.
