Diving headfirst and floating above a reflective yellow floor, the dancers of the Brian Brooks Moving Company fight to stay airborne in their latest performance piece, RAPID STILL. Alternating between live action and stop motion films, "they make your eyes water and your spirits soar" (Deborah Jowitt, Village Voice).
Brooks will also perform his solo, I'm Going to Explode, described by The New York Times as "a marvelous solo, all stiff, whipping arms and shuddering body," and by the Classical Voice of North Carolina as "ravishing."
