Bridges Vocal Ensemble is a small international group of singers who are blending the voices of various cultures and time periods. Formed by the two composers, Bettina Sheppard and Misa Ogasawara, the ensemble is composed of uniquely talented musicians from classical, jazz, and theatrical experience. This concert will present musical settings of poetry by Emily Dickinson, Misuzu Kaneko, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Dorothy Parker, and more, as well as selections from the new opera, Stillwaters.
