Continuing the theme of theater art that challenges social preconceptions, this fall we present George Tabori's compilation of poems, songs and excerpts from the work of Bertolt Brecht. A committed socialist, and visionary poet and playwright, Brecht infused his work with sharp social critique, wry humor, and a steadfast belief that human beings could change the world for the better. "We tried to teach and entertain ourselves before sharing our experiences with the audience," George Tabori wrote in his foreword. With scene and word and song we hope to do the same for ourselves and for you.
