A charismatic televangelist woos a successful Jewish businesswoman ... will he steal her fortune or heal her soul? Sheila Gold must decide if she will adhere to her life-long faith and side with her headstrong daughter, or if she will take a chance on a new love in her twilight hours. APOSTASY is a poignant, humoruous drama about mothers, daughters, lovers and faith.

DiIorio recently won a Berrilla Kerr Award for Playwriting. His plays have been broadcast internationally on BBC Radio and featured at the O’Neill Center, the Humana Festival, and New Dramatists.

Benefit Party: on April 26, Urban Stages is supporting a friend, Nikki Longoria, raising money for the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Tickets are $60 ($20 goes back to Urban Stages, the rest to the Foundation).
