Writers Joseph O'Connor and Colum McCann debut O'Connor's new novel, Redemption Falls, which he wrote at the Cullman Center.
About the Participants:
Joseph O'Connor's novels include Cowboys and Indians, Desperadoes, The Salesman, Inishowen, and Star of the Sea, which was published in 26 languages and received the Prix Littéraire Européan Madeleine Zepter for European novel of the year, Ireland’s Hennessy/Sunday Tribune Literary Award, the Irish Post Award for Fiction, France’s Prix Millepages,and a Nielsen-BookScan Golden Book Award. O’Connor, who lives in Dublin, has also written short stories, film scripts, plays, and a critical biography of the poet Charles Donnelly.
Colum McCannis the author, most recently, of the novel Zoli, which he researched while a Fellow at the Cullman Center in 2004. His other works include the novels This Side of Brightness and Dancer, and the story collections Fishing the Sloe-Black River and Everything in the Country Must.
