Based upon audience response to the readings last year, we are now bringing back, as the first full production in our 2006-07 Mainstage Season, Bill Bowers' IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING, developed with and directed by Martha Banta. A 75-minute joy ride, Bill shares funny, heartbreaking, and unbelievable true stories from his career as an actor and mime, and of his lifelong exploration of the role silence plays in all our lives. Compared to the work of Claudia Shear, Lisa Kron, and David Sedaris, this show is an autobiographical tour-de-force.
