Anthro-Fab & Tobacco Bar Theatre Company Presents
The Big Funk
Sunday, May 13, 2007 through Tuesday, May 15, 2007
A riveting look at the "big funk" that is the modern condition. Can the power of compassion and faith triumph over it?
Length: 1 hr 20 mins Intermission: Yes Seating: General Admission You choose your seats when you get to the theater.
Omar throws knives for a living and muses about the state of the world. His understanding wife, Fifi, suddenly pregnant with twins, acts as a rudder for him, and often for his friend, Austin, an out of work actor, who believes the world would be a better place if everyone would do something, even one small act of kindness. He follows his own advice when he comes upon Jill, a young woman sitting in a bar...covered with grease.
by John Patrick Shanley
Featuring Colleen Britt, Ellen Hauck, Toby Knops, Deanna McGovern, Michael Schantz & Jesse Soursourian.
Directed by Dana Panepinto
