Are You the Wife of Michael Cleary? by New York playwright Gino DiLorio is based on the true story of the burning of Bridget Cleary, the last witch to be burned in Ireland. She was burned by her husband at her home in Ballyvadlea county Tipperary in 1895 because he believed her to be a fairy-witch. This tragic event is reenacted by an Irish cast from the Stagemad Theatre Company, Waterford Ireland.
