A slice of life look at a struggling NYC band.After spending years toiling in the lower east side clubs, an aging group of friends discover their rock and roll passion distinguished as they embark on a new life plan that includes mortgages and 401ks. Written by Tectonic Theater member Grant James Varjas, 33 to Nothing, is a funny and touching look at the bonds beween friends and lovers, and how those bonds are tested and ultimately lost to the onset of adult responsibilities. The play features five original songs which the actors perform as a band.
