Ko-Ko, however, is unable to kill a fly and decides that Nanki-Poo and Yum-Yum should be married and flee while everyone pretends the execution occured!. The Mikado and Katisha, Nanki-Poo's former betrothed, arrive in Titipu. Discovering the execution of Nanki-Poo, the Mikado reveals that Ko-Ko,Pish-Tush, and Pooh-Bah are doomed to a horrible death for the accidental execution of his heir. Nanki-Poo suggests that Ko-Ko marry Katisha so she will beg for their mercy, and then decides that he and Yum-Yum can safely come back to life.
