Producer: ( The Arctic Playhouse)
The Arctic Playhouse
City: West Warwick

Additional Notes:
A.R. Gurneys multi-award winning comedy/drama is set in the dining room of a typical well-to-do household. The action is comprised of eighteen brief vignettes, in which six actors portray a wide array of diverse characters. THE DINING ROOM tells the story of a time in the not so distant past, when upper middle class families assembled daily for breakfast, dinner and any and all special occasions. This was before our modern day more efficient society seemingly placed less emphasis on tradition and more emphasis on progress. As described by the New York Post, THE DINING ROOM is “a brilliantly conceived and richly humorous theatrical tour de force.”
