We are happy to announce the third annual Designer Showhouse of Westchester benefiting Cerebral Palsy of Westchester will take place Thursday, May 2nd, 2013 to Sunday, June 9th, 2013 in Scarsdale, New York. The Showhouse will open with a Gala Preview Cocktail Party on Wednesday, May 1st, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. All Proceeds will benefit Cerebral Palsy of Westchester, Rye Brook, New York. New York Cottages & Gardens is the Media Sponsor and Houlihan Lawrence is the Real Estate Sponsor.
The Designer Showhouse of Westchester will feature over 25 of America’s top designers and decorative artists who will transform a magnificent 1915 mansion located in Scarsdale, New York into a decorating masterpiece. The Showhouse is located at 2 Cooper Road in Scarsdale, New York.

Twenty-two NYC teens. Two shows. Ninety minutes.
From September through May Adler Youth students study acting, voice and speech, movement, improvisation and scene study. Second-year students will present Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and first-year students will present a series of scenes. Please join the studio to celebrate their growth and hard work.
Running time: 90 minutes

The great Jewish American playwright, Clifford Odets, wrote in his 1935 introduction to Awake and Sing! - “All of the characters in Awake and Sing! share a fundamental activity: a struggle for life amidst petty conditions.”
Set in the Depression-era Bronx, Awake and Sing! shows us the Berger family's struggles with life, each other, and their hopes and dreams. The play was originally produced by the famed Group Theatre in 1935, starring such acting giants as Stella and Luther Adler, Morris Carnovsky, Jules Garfield, and Sanford Meisner.
Don't miss this revival of this classic American play, directed by Paul Casali of Love Creek's acclaimed productions of Period of Adjustment and In the Bar of a Tokyo Hotel.

The Cabaret Showdown is a hysterical monthly game show that takes place the second Sunday of every month at Under St. Marks. Be there as contestants compete for the chance to star in their very own show. Whether you are a contestant or in the audience you are guaranteed to have a blast!!!
Are you a SINGER, PERFORMER or COMEDIAN? Sign up today to be a contestant in the Cabaret Showdown. To register please send your name and interest to cabaretshowdown@yahoo.com. There are a maximum of 8 contestants per show and submissions are accepted on a first come first serve basis. The winner receives a FREE one-hour booking at Under St. Marks for their very own show to be performed the following month immediately after the next Cabaret Showdown.
Contestants will be asked to sing selections from various musical categories on our Official Game Board with no knowledge of what the song will be until right before they sing. All songs will be popular standards and to make things easier each contestant will be given a copy of the sheet music and will be accompanied by a live pianist. Our three judges will choose the winners based on how well they interpret their song so feel free to improvise and HAVE FUN!
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
Contestants will compete two at a time in rounds. The first contestant will choose a music category from the Official Game Board at which point a song will be revealed. They will then decide to either sing the song or pass the song to their competitor. If a song is passed to the com

CINDERELLA is a riotous musical take on the beloved story of a young girl dispossessed by her murderous Stepmother and wicked Stepsisters. Her friendship with two magical birds (puppets) helps her go to the Three Day Ball, where she meets a socially awkward Prince Dreamboat. His parents, the King and Queen (also puppets) are eager to marry him off so they can retire to Boca. Now, if only he were able to get that darned slipper to slip onto one of the girls in the kingdom, most of whom are so desperate to marry royally that they would whittle their feet for a fit!
Each performance is followed by a puppet making workshop on stage with the cast!
Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
