SYNOPSIS: Owen Weldon returns from the Western Front after his father has met with a mysterious and gruesome end. While his hometown of Chicago descends into a chaos of racial tension and violence in the summer of 1919, Owen must make a decision to fight for an inheritance he never wanted while the fate of his family and their meatpacking empire hangs in the balance.

RUNNING TIME: 2 hours and 21 minutes (one 10 minute intermission)

The Ventura sailing experience is both upscale and casual. Every Friday evening in summer, this beautiful, private sailing yacht welcomes individuals, couples, and networking groups aboard for a unique cruise in New York Harbor. (On weeknights and Saturday nights, Ventura hosts private and corporate events.) Friday sunset guests are permitted to byo wines, picnic snacks, etc -- no hard liquor allowed -- or self serve from the ship's honor bar. Background music compliments the engine-free sounds of wind and waves aboard this true wooden ship.Rain policy: If the sail is cancelled due to weather, all tickets will be credited at 100% value for another sail. The tickets are valid through the present sailing season AND into the following season. Tickets may also be transferred by the ticket holder to other persons. You will be notified automatically by Smarttix if the sail is cancelled due to weather. Generally speaking, we can sail rain or shine. And BTW, if we are out sailing and it begins to rain, we literally have you covered! In case it starts to rain, all Ventura guests are offered sheltered cabin space in the beautiful mahogany cabins below. They are also issued emergency rain gear. (And you can take the rain gear home.) Happily,on those very few occasions when all are below decks during rain, a bottle of fine Caribbean rum just happens to appear, and on the house! Yo ho ho to the very best policy on the water!Commissioned in 1919, she first started sailing in New York waters in 1922. Her original appointments feature varnished teak decks, mahogany cabins and gleaming brass oil lamps. On public sailing trips, guests can buy from 1 to 35 seats (total capacity) on regularly scheduled Friday evening sunset sails to the Statue of Liberty.
