City: New York

Additional Notes:
Variety says: Rebecca Gilman offers up a tale of Gotham singledom you won't be seeing any time soon on 'Sex and the City.' A disturbing chiller about a woman whose life of accomplishment is quickly destroyed by a disturbed admirer, the play works powerfully at its most basic level…

Theresa Bedell is a successful reporter in New York who loves her work and the life she has made for herself. A relationship with a man would complete the picture and so she agrees to go on a blind date with a friend of a friend. Tony is attractive and funny, but Theresa isn't sure, and after a second date she's convinced they have nothing in common and sees no point in continuing the relationship. Tony, though, thinks otherwise. What at first seems like persistence on his part grows into obsession, and Theresa's annoyance with Tony turns to terror as he begins to threaten her and those around her. Ultimately, Theresa must fight to save herself from being erased by Tony's actions which call into question the assumptions at the very heart of romantic pursuit.

This play is being presented in rotating repertory with BOYS' LIFE. By offering these two plays together we're engaging our audience in a deep and multi-faceted conversation about gender relations in the United States, says TSP Artistic Director, Brandon Walker. These stories explore what happens when men and women buck the social trends - will society accept anything less than the stereotypes it propagates? Get your tickets to BOYS' LIFE here.

Additional Notes:
Told in a series of fast-paced, sharply etched scenes, the play traces the misadventures of three former college buddies now seeking to make their way in the big city—and with various women of their acquaintance. Moving along briskly, with its mood of satirical humor brilliantly sustained, the play dissects and anatomizes the male narcissism—and protracted adolescence—which characterizes its protagonists and, in the end, makes it hilariously clear that it is actually the women who possess the qualities of manhood and maturity which their deluded lovers so desperately lay claim to. …BOYS' LIFE is the most balanced and intelligent comment on the battle of the sexes I've seen in a long time… —The New Yorker.

City: NYC

Additional Notes:
The Ventura sailing experience is both upscale and casual. Every Friday evening in summer, this beautiful, private sailing yacht welcomes individuals, couples, and networking groups aboard for a unique cruise in New York Harbor. (On weeknights and Saturday nights, Ventura hosts private and corporate events.) Friday sunset guests are permitted to byo wines, picnic snacks, etc -- no hard liquor allowed -- or self serve from the ship's bar. Background music compliments the engine-free sounds of wind and waves aboard this true wooden ship.Commissioned in 1919, she first started sailing in New York waters in 1922. Her original appointments feature varnished teak decks, mahogany cabins and gleaming brass oil lamps. On public sailing trips, guests can buy from 1 to 35 seats (total capacity) on regularly scheduled Friday evening sunset sails to the Statue of Liberty. Click here for a short clip of sailing on the Ventura! Friday nights are most popular with people looking to relax after work, enjoy a beer or glass of wine. Not a booze cruise. Guests are individuals, some on dates, and even a mini b-day party with a group of friends. You are welcome to byo wines, snacks -- no corkage fees or related b.s. Unique to New York, on Friday evening the Ventura offers her guests a unique, self-serve, keep your own tab beer/ale (awesome selection of micros!) and wine bar. Very handy in case you're running late or don't want to schlep. Sails are very popular and often sold out. If you are bringing a group, it is best to reserve early. On the week of the sail, you can usually get small numbers of tickets (singles, two/three/four) as late as mid week. If the boat is sold out, you can stand by. Space available means welcome aboard! And it is a very nice place to hang out even if you do not get a seat aboard.Friday skd: 6:15 pm boarding, 6:30 departure, returns between 8:45 and 9:00 pm, depending on wind and tide!

A World Premiere Comedy Starring Brooks Braselman.

Venue: ( Empire Stage)
Empire Stage
Producer: ( Empire Stage)
Empire Stage
City: Ft Lauderdale

Additional Notes:
Reflection of Evil: Die Sister Twin, Die!, the world premiere comedy by New York playwright, Stacey Bean, is the hilarious story of twins, Ann and Bettie, who rival each other for the affection of the town's local grease jockey. After a fatal sailing trip, only one twin survives, but which one is it? No one knows the truth, not their mother, the husband, Phillip, nor the maid, Hydrangea. The play is a tongue-in-cheek, campy spoof of movies from the 1940's, specifically the 1946 Bette Davis, Glenn Ford evil twin drama, A Stolen Life.
